Beautiful Disaster told in Travis point of view.

How much is too much to love?

Travis Maddox learned two things from his mother before she died: Love hard. Fight harder.

In Walking Disaster, the life of Travis is full of fast women, underground gambling, and violence. Just when he thought he was invincible, Abby Abernathy brings him to his knees.

Every story has two sides. In Jamie McGuire's New York Times bestseller Beautiful Disaster Abby had her say. Now it's time to see the story through Travis's eyes. (Goodreads)

Ok, I read Beautiful Disaster earlier this year, and really enjoyed the story. I did have some issues with the relationship, and how completely wrong it was at times, but I still overall enjoyed the story. I have been dying to get my hands on this book to read it from Travis' point of view. I just can't wait to get into his head and see exactly what he is thinking.

Gah! I can't wait!

So what are you Waiting for this week?

  6. I am curious about this because I want to see his thought process about things. Some of his actions were so wrong, so it has me wanting to find out why he did them.

Great choice, and totally don't hate the cover.

  7. Was Beautiful Disaster a YA? I'll have to go look that up and see... Because this cover most definitely reads as an adult UF cover, with the muscles and tattoo (nice, btw).

  8. Oh, I can't wait to get a copy of this and read this very awesome story from a different perspective. I agree that this relationship is quite... unhealthy, but that's what makes it so special, I think. :D Great pick, my dear!
