My Week in Review • Week 22 & 23

Now, here's what I've been up to this week!

Hey, Bookworms!! I have once again gotten behind on my posts, but I'm working on fixing that today!
Here's a small update to cover the past two weeks.



At the end of May I finally started my re-read of The Remnant Chronicles by Mary E. Pearson, and I LOVED diving back into series! The Kiss of Deception is so good, I can't wait to get started on the next two books, hopefully this coming week.

I also read Legendary by Stephanie Garber, (you can see my thoughts for the book here), and You by Caroline Kepnes, which was a read for book club, and which was really creepy.



As of now I am officially caught up on ALL of Rick Riordan's books, as I just recently finished The Burning Maze last week. The only downside to being caught up, is that I actually have to wait for the next book to be release. HAHA! I do still have some spin off books to read of his, so hopefully that will hold me over until book 4 in the Trials of Apollo series is released.

I also finished my re-reads of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire and Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix over the last two weeks as well! It's always fun to re-read these books.



City of Bastards by Andrew Shvarts was released into the wild last week, and I'm hoping to have my thoughts for the book on the blog this week! I also read Roar by Cora Carmack, which is now out in paperback, and I'm pretty thrilled to finally mark this book off my TBR list.

Vicious by V.E. Schwab has also been on my TBR for way too long, and I managed to read both it and The Wife Between Us by Greer Hendricks and Sarah Pekkanen this week. Both of these were really great reads!




The hubby and I are still slowly binge-watching The Office, and we've finally made it Season 5! I also watched Top Gun for our book club movie watch this week, and it was a fun movie to rewatch. It's been too long since I last watched it!

I really need to make time to watch some new movies soon, as I'm falling behind on my movie challenge, and my DVR is packed FULL of stuff to watch. I must clean it off soon!



I wish I could say that I've just been slacking over the past few weeks, but I've really just been crazy busy. I thought that since it was Summer Break, I would have SO Much free time, and that's not the case at all. The kids have been crazy busy this summer, which is making me crazy busy, and I  just want some free time already!!

At least I'm actually doing really well with my reading schedule so far this month! I'm hoping to stay caught up, and I just need to find time to write some reviews and schedule some posts. It's hard to think about even sitting at the computer when it's so pretty and sunny outside. I just want to hang out in the pool and read! :)

I guess that's all for me this week! Here's hoping that I will actually get the update for next week up on time!
