Well, it sounds absolultely fascinating. It sounds like a great love story. I'm definitely going to see if I can find any books on Tristan and Isolde before this book is released. It also really helps that the cover is stunning! Go add this to your TBR list!

My Review: White Cat is a captivating mixture of curse workers and conmen. I read this book in just a few hours time. It was a quick, suspenseful read that kept my attention throughout the book. I really enjoyed reading this book.
Cassel is an outsider in his family full of curse workers. Relying heavily on his ability as a conman, he makes his own place in the world. He does what he had to do to get by. He has issues big time. He believes that he killed his best friend, which really messes with his mind. I like that he was not the perfect hero, but was flawed, just like the rest of us. I liked that the story was written from his POV. I don’t get to read many books where a guy is the main character, and it was really interesting.
I liked the other characters as well. Sam, Daneca, and Grandpa were well written as well. I didn’t care for the brothers or the mom, but I’m looking forward to reading more about them in the next book. I’m on the fence about Lila. I wanted to like her, but I didn’t want to as well.
The world Holly Black created was fascinating. The setting, characters and 'curse' were really cool to read about. There was a lot going on in the book, and sometimes it got confusing. But it all came together at the end. Now I just have to read book #2, Red Glove, to see what’s going to happen next!

1. I am TOTALLY addicted to reading. :)
2. I've started collecting e-readers apparently. (I LOVE physical books, but I also love saving a tree too!) I still like books the best though.
3. I used to read general fiction books ALL the time.. Then I read The Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare, and fell in love with YA!!
4. I try to read while walking on the treadmill... it never turns out very well.
5. Instead, I listen to audiobooks while I walk! :)~

Today's question is: "If you could physically put yourself into a book or series…which one would it be and why?" Hmmm... I'm 'going to say in The Mortal Instruments Series! Because it's my favorite series, and... come on.. Who wouldn't want to meet Jace?! LoL!

My Review:
I finally managed to get a hold of Firelight from our public library. I’m so glad I did!
Firelight was definitely different than the other books I’ve been reading lately. No vampires, no werewolves… In this story, we have dragons! (Draki’s, to be exact.) The mythical world that Sophie Jordan created in this book was absolutely fascinating. The descriptions and the writing were wonderful.
The characters were great. I could relate to Jacinda’s struggle. She went from being the popular girl, living the life that she loved, to being taken away from that life and having nothing. She resented her mom and sister for making her live this life she hated. But she also wanted them to be happy, and she knew they were both happy living their new life. I felt bad for her. I resented her mom and sister. But I also understood her mom wanting to keep her safe.
I really liked Will’s character. He really hated what his family did, and he did whatever he had to do to keep people from getting close to his family. His relationship with Jacinda was really intense. He really surprised me in more ways than one.
The only hard part I had with this book, was actually picturing what a Draki would look like. They sound fascinating though!
All in all, this was a really good read! If you haven’t read it yet, you should definitely give it a read! I’m really looking forward to reading Vanished, which will be released on September 6th 2011!!

My Review:
The Dark Divine was absolutely wonderful! I managed to snag a copy from the library, and I’m so glad that I did! The book really kept me guessing… Awesome, awesome read!
I loved the storyline, the character’s, the setting. It all blended beautifully into a wonderful story. I really connected with the characters as well. Especially Grace. I could feel her struggle with herself. She wanted to be her own person, but also wanted to please her family. She was a very down to earth, which is a nice change.
Just when I thought I had Daniel figured out, he threw me for another loop. I was eager to get as much information about him as I could. He turned out to be such a great character!! I also really enjoyed reading about her family. All the characters are well written in this book.
If you haven’t read this book yet, you totally should. It’s a quick, fascinating read that will leave you wanting more. Well, it certainly left me wanting more. I can’t wait to read the second book in the series, The Lost Saint! Enjoy!

My Review:Nightshade is one of those books that leave me asking myself... Why didn't I read this sooner??? This book was an absolutely fascinating read. I flew through it. Never a dull moment, there's always Something going on!
All of the characters in this book were well thought out. All of them had something going for them that made them stand out. I liked the main character, Calla. She's strong-willed. She's an Alpha, used to being the leader. Always wanting to do what's right to protect her pack members and her family. That's admirable.
To be brutally honest, I'm still on the fence about Ren and Shay. I kind of like them both. This love triangle was a bit... um... much. (Intense?) The pack members were great. I loved their interactions with one another. Especially after the two alphas were worried they wouldn't get along.
All in all, this book was really great. I loved the story and the characters. Now I'm anxiously looking forward to reading Wolfsbane, which will be released before you know it!
