Waiting on Wednesday #6

"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Jill at Breaking The Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.

This week, I am waiting on:
Wolfsbane (Witches War #2)
Author: Andrea Cremer
Release Date: July 26th 2011
Publisher: Penguin Young Readers
From Goodreads:
This thrilling sequel to the much-talked-about Nightshade begins just where it ended.Calla Tor wakes up in the lair of the Searchers, her sworn enemy, and she's certain her days are numbered.

But then the Searchers make her an offer, one that gives her the chance to destroy her former masters and save the pack and the man she left behind. Is Ren worth the price of her freedom? And will Shay stand by her side no matter what? Now in control of her own destiny, Calla must decide which battles are worth fighting and how many trials true love can endure and still survive.
Why I am waiting on Wolfsbane:
I am currently reading Nightshade, and am LOVING it! The covers on these books are really gorgeous. I've been reading about the new covers as well, and I have to say... I like them both, but like the older ones a little better. If you haven't checked out Nightshade, you definitely should!

What are you waiting on this week??? Leave a link in the comments so I can visit your WOW!Happy Reading!

  1. Wolfsbane!! I want! I loved Nightshade too and have been itching to get my hands on the sequel already. Personally I prefer the older covers - they're amazing and what first drew me into reading the books. I still like the new covers, but they aren't quite as eye-catching as the old. Either way, the story is all I care about - now hurry please, July!

  4. I agree with you about the older covers, especially the one for Nightshade. I think the new cover for that one is a little creepy. I'm glad you are enjoying the first book. I can't wait for Wolfsbane either.

  20. This is my highest wishlist book for the summer too. I'm really bummed they are changing the covers. I don't like them at all. That doesn't really change how much I want to read Wolfsbane though...

  23. I love this old cover, too! It's like HarperCollins changing the cover of Die for Me. The first one was beautiful. Anyways, I haven't Nightshade yet. It's in my TBR pile. I hope to read it soon!

  27. I wasn't sure if you'd see the reply if I posted it at my blog, but I wanted to say that I think it's so cool you just got the same camcorder! Is yours black, too, or did you go online for the blue or purple? I love how thin it is. Unbelievably, it's lighter than my cellphone, too!

  31. Thanks for stopping by everyone! I just finished up Nightshade tonight, and it was great! If you haven't read it yet, you totally should! Thanks to all the new followers too!

Marla- What part of Tennessee are you in??

Bonnie- Yes, he got me the black one. I would have loved to have the purple, but he said since would be using it too, it had to be a neutral color. lol! And I know, it's barely bigger than my Blackberry. I LOVE it!

  33. Good idea! *mimicks and posts in both places* I love that we both have the black one. Identical twins for the win! One of the things that sealed this model in (besides the good CNet review) was the underwater aspect. I'm still wary, but someday soon I hope to go to Discovery Cover...

  34. I have not read Nightshade. I have no idea what kind of story inside. But most of the love it. I think I am going to check it out first.

Bonnie- LOL!! I agree, the underwater thing is pretty neat... I don't know if we will test it out or not though. We might have to give it a try when the kids start to the pool this summer. I can't wait to see what you do with it!
