A Prodigal Son. A Dangerous Love. A Deadly Secret.

Grace Divine—daughter of the local pastor—always knew something terrible happened the night Daniel Kalbi disappeared and her brother Jude came home covered in his own blood.

Now that Daniel's returned, Grace must choose between her growing attraction to him and her loyalty to her brother. As Grace gets closer to Daniel, she learns the truth about that mysterious night and how to save the ones she loves, but it might cost her the one thing she cherishes most: her soul. -Goodreads.com

My Review:
The Dark Divine was absolutely wonderful! I managed to snag a copy from the library, and I’m so glad that I did! The book really kept me guessing… Awesome, awesome read!

I loved the storyline, the character’s, the setting. It all blended beautifully into a wonderful story. I really connected with the characters as well. Especially Grace. I could feel her struggle with herself. She wanted to be her own person, but also wanted to please her family. She was a very down to earth, which is a nice change.

Just when I thought I had Daniel figured out, he threw me for another loop. I was eager to get as much information about him as I could. He turned out to be such a great character!! I also really enjoyed reading about her family. All the characters are well written in this book.

If you haven’t read this book yet, you totally should. It’s a quick, fascinating read that will leave you wanting more. Well, it certainly left me wanting more. I can’t wait to read the second book in the series, The Lost Saint! Enjoy!
