A Glass of Wine
Kathy is such a great person, and she's always chatting with me on Twitter and on our blogs.  She also has really great taste in books, and posts awesome reviews!

Fictional Distraction
Carina's blog is another that I check on a daily bases. She has lots of great reviews, and great features as well! I love her fun posts, and she's a really nice person to chat with.

Starting the Next Chapter
Marla is a fellow Tennessean, and I am SO glad to have met her! Her blog is really great, she's always thinking of fun new stuff to post!

Safari Poet
I discovered Petra's blog around the time I first started blogging. Her blog is one of the first ones on my Google Reader list. I love reading her posts!

The Book Swarm
Mary is SO nice! And I love her blog!  Her review posts are always so much fun, and we pretty much have the same thoughts about a lot of books!

A. Gah! This is a really hard question for me, because I don't watch a lot of Tv.  Sooo... I'd like for my favorite book characters to meet my favorite TV show! Lola and the Boy Next Door and Glee! Can you imagine that??? :)

A.Hmmm... My favorite spooky book as of late would HAVE to be Anna Dressed in Blood by Kendare Blake. This book seriously blew me away with it's creepiness. I loved it!

Q. What book that hasn't been turned into a movie (yet) would you most like to see make it to the big screen, and who would you like cast as your favorite character?

A. The one book I would LOVE to see made into a movie is The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer! I love that book so very much, and it would definitely make a great movie. :)

Not sure who I would picture as the cast... I definitely need to do a re-read so I can visualize! lol!

A. There have been some villains that I have loved to hate, but I don't think there are any that I would have ever wanted to win at the end of a story. I would have to think on this one!

A. Right now I mostly read YA fiction. If authors ever stopped writing in that genre, (Heaven forbid!), I think I would probably pick up Urban Fantasy and Paranormal. I've always enjoyed this genre, even if I haven't read much.

A. That's a pretty tough question... I think I'm going to say Unicorns, because they seem like the least threatening! LOL!

Q. If you could write yourself a part in a book, what book would it be and what role would you play in that book?

A.Hmmm... There are quite a few books I would love to be a part of. Jane Austen is one of my favorite authors, so I would love to be a character in one of her books. Preferably Pride and Prejudice, and I would love to be the love interest of Mr. Darcy! ROFL!

Another book I would love to be in would be Mara Dyer, so I could meet Noah. (Hubba-Hubba!). :)

A. Hmmm, good question. (And one that I don't have an answer to!) Probably Outlander by Diana Gabaldon. I read it a couple years ago, and at 850 pages, it was MASSIVE!

Q. How has your reading habits changed since you were a teen? or If you are still a teen what new genres are you in love with currently?

A. When I was a teen, I NEVER wanted to read. (I did for school, but that is about it.) There was so much other stuff to do. NOW, I would rather stay home and read than do ANYTHING else. haha  I think if the YA genre was this awesome when I was a teen, I might have read more. I like to think so, anyways.

Q. Talk about the book that most changed or influenced your life (was it a book that turned you from an average to avid reader, did it help you deal with a particularly difficult situation, does it bring you comfort every time you read it?

A. I was a big reader as a kid, but got out of the habit of reading the older I got.  There were quite a few books that got me back into reading.

The Mortal Instrument Series by Cassandra Clare
Wake Series by Lisa McMann
The Darkest Powers Trilogy by Kelley Armstrong

These are the books that really drew me back into reading, made me become an avid reader, and got me to love the YA genre. I'm so glad to have read these books, and am so glad to be reading again. :)

Q. What do I do when I am not reading?

A.Well, I have three kids, and I'm a stay at home mom, so they pretty much take up most of my time. :) But when they are not requiring my full attention, and I'm not reading, I do quite a few things. I blog, I crochet (badly), I recycle (alot), sometimes I watch TV. But most of the time, I read. I lead a very boring life, and I'm ok with that! :)

A. I get my books from a lot of different places. A lot come from the library, a lot from Netgalley, and some in the mail. I love PaperBackSwap.com, I have gotten SO many great books from there. We also have some awesome used book stores in our area, and I get a lot from them as well.

A. Hmmm... I'd have to think about book characters. But my Movie character would totally be CAPTAIN JACK! My first reaction would probably be to pass out. I LOVE HIM!

A. Thankfully, I haven't had to stop reading a book or put it back on the shelf lately. (YA books are awesome!)  But usually something good has to be going on in the book, or for there to be awesome characters,  in order for it to keep my attention. If I'm bored with it, it definitely goes back on the shelf.
