Follow Friday! #23
Follow Friday is a weekly meme hosted by Parajunkee. It's a great way to meet new blogger friends!
This weeks question is:
Q. Name 3 authors that you would love to sit down and spend an hour or a meal with just talking about either their books or get advice on writing from?A. Three authors I would love to sit and chat with would probably be:
Kelley Armstrong, Lisa McMann and Cassandra Clare. I could go on and on, but these are the authors that really got me interested in reading YA books. :)
Book Blogger Hop #21
Book Blogger Hop is a weekly meme hosted by Crazy-For-Books.com. It's a great way to meet new people and friends around the blogworld!
Q. What’s the ONE GENRE that you wish you could get into, but just can’t?
A. Hmmm... I would say... Non-fiction. Like Biographies and such. There are subjects that I would love to read about, but I have to admit, trying to read these books put me to sleep. :P
Thanks for stopping by everyone! Please leave a comment with your link so I can follow you back!
Great answers! I could go on and on about all the authors I'd like to meet! Lisa McMann's books are so good!
ReplyDeleteI would also love to sit down with Cassandra Clare. I find her fascinating and she also seems very witty. I am a new follower just hopping through.
ReplyDeleteDanielle @Ramblings From This Chick
I agree with you those would be fantastic authors to sit down with! AND I'm super happy to say that whatever was going on with my blogger account is fixed and I can finally comment on your blog again! No more reading without being able to leave you a note!

Hi, hopping through. I answered Non-fiction also. I feel like I'm supposed to like to read non-f, but I just can't get past the feeling that it is homework.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!

Definitely have to agree about the non-fiction! I want to but I just can't bring myself to read any. I'm a new follower!
ReplyDeleteHopping through. I go through phases with biographies. Right now, I'm getting back into them.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to meet Cassandra Clare too.
My Hop
I don't like non-fiction either. I want to escape the world and I can't do that unless I'm reading fiction, even if it's contemporary.
ReplyDeleteCassandra Clare was one of my choices too. :)
I recognize the authors but haven't read them yet. I've really been meaning to.
ReplyDeleteAwesome choices!!
ReplyDeleteMy FF Post!
Great choices! Have a great weekend!

ReplyDeleteGreat author choices..
My FF, http://obsessionwithbooks.blogspot.com
Have a nice weekend :)
Ahhh!! Everyone keeps saying genres that didn't even cross my mind when I answered. So true!!! Non-fiction usually doesn't interest me. I tend to skip around to the parts I need or I read the descriptions underneath the charts.
ReplyDeleteI just took out a bunch of non-fiction books on things like sewing and tattoos. I'll probably look at the pictures.
Hi,
ReplyDeleteI never read non fiction. I really think it's boring :S
Stopping by for the blog hop.
Have a wonderfull weekend!

I answered paranormal fiction, but I agree on the (auto)biography thing! I never feel compelled to read those!

ReplyDeletewanna check out mine?> here it is LALAINE'S FICBOOKREVIEWS #ff
Oh, I'm so with you on non-fiction. I don't even read my textbooks if I can help it so why would I chose to read non-fiction during my free time. I guess I should be more intellectual, but as a college student I'm more apt to allow that type of brain work to remain only for studying.
ReplyDeleteRie @ Mission to Read
I don't think I would want to read biographies and non-fiction books. I like escaping from reality too much to read real stuff.
ReplyDeleteGreat author choices! Actually met Kelley Armstrong a few times at signings, not a sit-down and chat thing but still got to see her and hear her talk about stuff!
Here's my Friday Hops
Have a GREAT weekend!

Cassandra Clare made my list as well. She would be awesome to talk to. Biographies put me to sleep as well. It would have to be one that I REALLY wanted to read to stay interested.
ReplyDeleteCassandra Clare seems to be a popular pick for this week's question! I'd like to meet her too! Just stopping by to say hey, and have a great weekend!

Just blogging by, Happy Friday!
ReplyDeleteCassandra Clare- Great choice!

I still have to read all of those authors! I already have them on my to-read list and I know a lot of people have loved their books. Definitely gotta get to them soon! Whenever I can fit them in, lol.

Love your blog button and "Follow me" buttons...can you possibly link me to where I can get similar "Follow me" buttons? So I can have my Goodreads, Facebook and Twitter in one rather than getting a gadget/button for each?
ReplyDeleteKelley Armstrong is also one of my fave authors, fell in love with her "Darkest Power" trilogy.
Oh, I'd love to meet Kelley Armstrong and Cassandra Clare! Great choices!
ReplyDeleteI can never get into biographies, though I love non-fiction.
Old follower and have a great weekend!
