In Act Your Age, Eve Brown the flightiest Brown sister crashes into the life of an uptight B&B owner and has him falling hard—literally.

Eve Brown is a certified hot mess. No matter how hard she strives to do right, her life always goes horribly wrong—so she’s given up trying. But when her personal brand of chaos ruins an expensive wedding (someone had to liberate those poor doves), her parents draw the line. It's time for Eve to grow up and prove herself—even though she's not entirely sure how…

Jacob Wayne is in control. Always. The bed and breakfast owner’s on a mission to dominate the hospitality industry—and he expects nothing less than perfection. So when a purple-haired tornado of a woman turns up out of the blue to interview for his open chef position, he tells her the brutal truth: not a chance in hell. Then she hits him with her car—supposedly by accident. Yeah, right.

Now his arm is broken, his B&B is understaffed, and the dangerously unpredictable Eve is fluttering around, trying to help. Before long, she’s infiltrated his work, his kitchen—and his spare bedroom. Jacob hates everything about it. Or rather, he should. Sunny, chaotic Eve is his natural-born nemesis, but the longer these two enemies spend in close quarters, the more their animosity turns into something else. Like Eve, the heat between them is impossible to ignore—and it’s melting Jacob’s frosty exterior. (Add to Goodreads)

Act Your Age, Eve Brown is the third, and final, book in The Brown Sisters series by Talia Hibbert. It’s also one of my most anticipated reads for early 2021, and I’m so thrilled to have finally read it! Though reading this book was a little bittersweet, as I was excited to read Eve’s story, but I also didn’t want the series to come to an end. This series has quickly become one of my favorites, and I’m so thrilled to have added a favorite new author to my growing list!

As I mentioned above, Act Your Age, Eve Brown is the third book in this wonderful series and is about the youngest Brown sister, Eve. We got to know Eve a little bit in Chloe and Dani’s books, and I definitely wanted to know more about this youngest sister. Eve is a bit all over the place when we first meet her in the story… giving up on yet another career that she had just started, and pushing her parents to give her an ultimatum; find a job and stick with it for a year, or be cut off from her trust fund. When she goes out on a drive to figure out what to do, she stumbles upon a charming bed and breakfast, run by a somewhat grumpy owner, Jacob, and hilarity ensues.

Eve and Jacob were SO CUTE together! Despite their rocky first meeting, I just knew that they were going to be a great couple. And they were! I enjoyed watching their relationship grow throughout the book so much, especially as Jacob learned to trust Eve, which was not an easy thing for him to do. I also enjoyed watching Eve become more responsible and find the job that she loved. The storyline for this book was super cute as well. And I love that the story is told from alternate viewpoints, so we got to see things from both Eve and Jacob’s perspectives. (I am a huge fan of this, and definitely need more books to be written this way.)

I also really, really enjoyed getting to see the characters from the previous books as well. It’s always so nice to get to catch up with them, even if just for a little bit. There were also some interesting new characters as well, and I have my fingers crossed that maybe a few of them will get their own series in the future!

Overall; Act Your Age, Eve Brown was the perfect ending to this wonderful series! I am so sad to see the series ending, but am already planning to re-read it soon, and will definitely be checking out more of Talia’s books ASAP! (And if she just happened to want to write a series about two awesome twins and their brother, I would totally be on board to read it!)

Talia Hibbert returns with another charming romantic comedy about a young woman who agrees to fake date her friend after a video of him “rescuing” her from their office building goes viral...

Danika Brown knows what she wants: professional success, academic renown, and an occasional roll in the hay to relieve all that career-driven tension. But romance? Been there, done that, burned the T-shirt. Romantic partners, whatever their gender, are a distraction at best and a drain at worst. So Dani asks the universe for the perfect friend-with-benefits—someone who knows the score and knows their way around the bedroom.

When brooding security guard Zafir Ansari rescues Dani from a workplace fire drill gone wrong, it’s an obvious sign: PhD student Dani and ex-rugby player Zaf are destined to sleep together. But before she can explain that fact, a video of the heroic rescue goes viral. Now half the internet is shipping #DrRugbae—and Zaf is begging Dani to play along. Turns out, his sports charity for kids could really use the publicity. Lying to help children? Who on earth would refuse?

Dani’s plan is simple: fake a relationship in public, seduce Zaf behind the scenes. The trouble is, grumpy Zaf’s secretly a hopeless romantic—and he’s determined to corrupt Dani’s stone-cold realism. Before long, he’s tackling her fears into the dirt. But the former sports star has issues of his own, and the walls around his heart are as thick as his... um, thighs.

Suddenly, the easy lay Dani dreamed of is more complex than her thesis. Has her wish backfired? Is her focus being tested? Or is the universe just waiting for her to take a hint? (Goodreads)

Take a Hint, Dani Brown by Talia Hibbert was at the top of my list of most anticipated reads to check out this summer, and I, of course, dropped everything and started reading the book the moment it was in my hands. I have absolutely no regrets – this book was fantastic!

I was admittedly super late to the party when it came to reading Get a Life, Chloe Brown, the first book in the Brown Sisters trilogy, but once I finally read it, I was HOOKED, and I knew this was a book series that I was going to love. I adored Chloe and Red from the first book, and I was so excited to get started on Dani and Zafir’s story!

There are so many things that I loved about this book, but one of the main things were the characters. Dani is brilliant, and confident, and curvy, and SO much fun! (She’s also a vegetarian, like me, AND struggles with anxiety, also like me!) And then there’s Zafir, the romance reading, audiobook listening, emotions feeling Zafir. (Yes friends, he’s super dreamy.) Zafir has definitely earned a spot of my favorite fictional men list. When you put Dani and Zafir together, wonderful things happen!

I also really, really loved the storyline for the book as well. It’s the fake dating trope, and I don’t read nearly enough of those! Dani and Zafir are *really* good at fake dating, you’ll have a hard time believing that it’s fake. (Seriously, adorable!) I definitely need to read more books with this kind of storyline!

And while I own the physical copy of the book, I opted to listen to the audiobook for Take a Hint, Dani Brown, since I listened to the first book on audio. Both audiobooks are fantastic! The narrator for this book, Ione Butler, has a beautiful voice! Not only was her accent completely charming, but her voices for the characters were fabulous as well! I could definitely listen to her narrate books all day long, and I will for sure be checking out more audiobooks narrated by her soon!

Overall; If you couldn’t tell by this super gushy review above, I really, REALLY loved Take a Hint, Dani Brown! The characters were so much fun, and the storyline completely captivating, and I loved every minute of it. Now I will be over here patiently waiting for the third, (and final), book in this sister series, Act Your Age, Eve Brown, which is currently set to release March 2021. I am so excited for Eve’s story!
