Follow Friday is a weekly meme hosted by Parajunkee & Alison Can Read. It's a great way to meet new blogger friends!
Q. Letter to Santa: Tell Santa what books you want for Christmas!
A.Ugh! There are so many books I want Santa to bring this year!
Here are a few I would love to have, some old, some new releases:
- Clockwork Prince - Cassandra Clare
- Mercy/Muse - Rebecca Lim
- Angel Fire - L.A. Weatherly
- Anna Dressed in Blood -Kendare Blake (Already read, but don't have my own copy.)
- Shatter Me - Tahera Mafi
- And just about every other new release that is coming out soon! Lol!
TGIF at GReads #5
TGIF at GReads is a Friday Feature hosted by Ginger at GReadsBooks.com!
Giving Thanks: Which books are you most thankful for receiving from other bloggers, friends, family members, or publishers?
Well, I'm always thankful for any ARC's I get for publishers. I 'hate' requesting them, and rarely do because it makes me feel bad, but I'm always thankful when they send them along!
The books I'm most thankful for are any that my hubby buys for me! Best gifts ever! Otherwise, most people just give me gift cards to buy my own books. :)
Does that even answer this question? Probably not. :)
Happy Thanksgiving all!
Thanks for stopping by everyone! Please leave a comment with your link so I can follow you back!
I hope for Shatter Me as well C:

I have Clockwork Prince at the top of my wishlist as well. I should have just given a general answer "any new releases" too. Anna Dressed in Blood was amazing, so I'm hoping Santa will drop that off to you!

Happy reading.
I think I'll have what you're having! I just started Shatter Me this morning, and it. is. AMAZING!
ReplyDeleteGood picks :D
Ooh, Clockwork Prince and Anna are on my list too. YAY! They are both amazing and I can't wait to have my own copies.
ReplyDeleteI agree. I always feel weird asking for ARCs, but am always so thankful for any I do happen to get.
My book holiday list looks like that of a greedy child. Or, as I said when I was little, "I want ALL the dolls!"
ReplyDeleteHope you get everything on your list!
I'm excited to read Shatter Me. I downloaded it the day it came out.
ReplyDeleteIt's so funny that you say you hate requesting books from publishers, I feel the same way! I always get so uncomfortable making a request and I worry their going to think I'm being really greedy or demanding and I get myself all worked up:) And I cannot wait for Clockwork Prince, that one can't come out soon enough! Have a great weekend Christy!
ReplyDeleteI love pretty much anyone who gives me a book (or gift cards I can use to get them)! I have a penchant for owning my own copy, especially if it's a book I'm anticipating or that's by an author I really like.
ReplyDeleteI love getting ARCs, but I think I feel more special when I receive a good book from a friend or family member, so I definitely see where you're coming from. :-)
ReplyDeleteNice list, I think I didn't know about Mercy/Muse - Rebecca Lim

I know the feeling. I feel so uncomfortable requesting ARCs. In fact, I've never done it. I'm too intimidated.
ReplyDeleteGreat list of books there!
ReplyDeleteNew follower, Cassy @ Late Night Reads
Hi, just stopping by for the Friday Follow. A little late, but I'm new at this so it takes me forever. It’s gonna take me all week to get thru this list. Lots of new authors to meet.
ReplyDeleteI'm from http://steepedinbooks.blogspot.com I'm a new follower here.
When you come to visit my blog, you might want to stop and take a look at the new TELL-ALL INTERVIEW I just gave about my THREE YEARS OF HOMELESSNESS. During that time, I wrote and published THE HOME STREET HOME TRILOGY. I just finally got a new apartment and after a month of rest, I felt ready to open up and tell what it was like to live through this experience and write my books. I hope you will take a look at this UNIQUE INTERVIEW.
Thanks, and nice to meet you.
