January 12: Top Ten 2015 Releases I Meant To Get To But Didn't
1. Carry On by Rainbow Rowell - I preordered this book as soon as it became available, yet I still have not had a chance to read it. I love Rainbow Rowell, and I MUST make time for this book soon!
2. Legacy of Kings by Eleanor Herman - I ordered this book right after it was released, because it was all that everyone was talking about! I'm super curious about it, so I'm hoping to start it soon!!
3. Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo - I think I'm the only person in the world that hasn't yet read this book. I have it on my shelf, and it totally calls to me. I must read this soon!!
4. The Orphan Queen by Jodi Meadows - I've been trying to get to this book for a while now, and still haven't had a chance to read it yet. I did recently snag an e-ARC of the sequel, The Mirror King, so I plan to read them both together!!
5. Simon vs the Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli - I borrowed this book from the library a few times, but always had to send it back because someone else requested it before I could actually read it. Haha! I think that means I should just order my own copy!!
6. Everything Everything by Nicola Yoon - Everyone and their mama talked about this book last year, and I'm super curious to read it already. I think I will be buying a copy of it as well!!
7. The Wrath and the Dawn by Renee Ahdieh - This book sounds SO good, and I want to add it to my collection SO badly! I think I will totally be ordering it soon, because it sounds like a must read!!
8. The Iron Warrior by Julie Kagawa - I am kicking myself because I STILL haven't had a chance to read this book yet!! It was definitely a most anticipated read for me in 2015, I feel like I've been waiting forever for it, so I really need to READ IT ALREADY!!
9. Their Fractured Light by Amie Kaufman & Meagan Spooner -I really, really love this series, and somehow the release date for the third book slipped right by me. I must read it soon!!
10. A Darker Shade of Magic by V.E. Schwab -This is another book that I've had from the library a few times, but haven't had a chance to read before it's due back. Someone ALWAYS has it on hold!! I need to order my own copy already so I can read it at my own pace!!
I didn't get to read these books in 2015,
but I'm definitely hoping to read them all and MORE in 2016!!
This year is going to be my year. I am FINALLY going to get caught up on my books!!
(I hope!!)

Everything Everything was amazing! One of my favourite reads for 2015 <3! Six of Crows, The Wrath & The Dawn, and ADSOM are also on my list! And while these didn't make it on my list I really do want to read Carry On, The Legacy of Kings and Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda.

I have to admit, I tried reading Six of Crows and couldn't get/stay into it at all. I kept putting it down and finding other things to read. LOL - As for Iron Warrior, I didn't even know that book existed! I *love* the Iron Fey series!
ReplyDeleteYay more Six of Crows! Thought I would be the only one with that on my list!
ReplyDeleteHere's my Tuesday Post
Have a GREAT day!

ReplyDeleteMy TTT! :D
Great list - I'm pretty surprised you haven't read Everything, Everything. I haven't either but I want to!! And I haven't read Six of Crows, either - you're not alone! :) It's on my list, along with The Wrath. Hopefully this year we'll both get to them!
ReplyDeleteI haven't read any of these books yet either. Carry On made my TTT this week, but a few others are also on my TBR list. I hope you enjoy all of them once you get around to them.

ReplyDeleteEverything Everything is on my list as well - I hope to get to it very soon!
Legacy of Kings should have probably gone on my list as I have the ARC and received several emails regarding a third, fourth and fifth ARC of it (why I need more than one is beyond me) but by that point I was sick of hearing about it so I pushed it aside lol Still does look good, now I'm just being stubborn!
ReplyDeleteNice list!
