Top Ten Tuesday: Graphic Novels on my TBR

January 31: All about the visuals: Top Ten Favorite Graphic Novels/Comics or Ten Comics on My TBR or Top Ten Favorite Picture Books

To be honest, I'm super new to graphic novels! I read a few at the end of last year though, and really enjoyed them, and now I want to read more! I've discovered quite a few I didn't know about when making this list, and now I'm so excited to start them!

1. Wires and Nerve, Volume 1 (Wires and Nerve #1) by Marissa Meyer - I've been seeing this book around a LOT lately, and I'm super curious! I still need to finish the original series first, but hopefully I can get to it soon!

2. Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children: The Graphic Novel (Miss Peregrine's Peculiar Children Graphic Novels #1) by Ransom Riggs - I just read Miss Peregrine's last year, and really, really enjoyed the book! I still need to read the second and third books in the series, but I'm also adding the graphic novel to my list as well!

3.  Iron King (The Iron Fey Manga #1) by Julie Kagawa - How did I not know this was a thing? I LOVE the Iron Fey series!! I must get a copy of this soon.

4. Legend: The Graphic Novel (Legend: The Graphic Novel #1) by Marie Lu - This is another series I need to finish (start) before I can read the graphic novel, but it's good to know this is out there waiting on me!

5. The Lightning Thief: The Graphic Novel (Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Graphic Novels #1) by Rick Riordan - This was actually one of the first graphic novels I ever read! Last year I read the first three novels in this series, and I'm anxiously waiting to get my hands on the fourth and fifth novels. :)

6. Big Mushy Happy Lump (Sarah's Scribbles#2) by Sarah Andersen - Another first for me, I read Adulthood is a Myth last year, and I LOVED IT! Very relatable. I can't wait for this second book!

7. The Infernal Devices: Clockwork Angel (The Infernal Devices: Manga #1) by Cassandra Clare - Again, how did I not know that these were a thing?!?! I totally would have read them sooner if I had. Luckily my library as the three novels in this series, and I can't wait to get started on them!

8. City of Bones: The Graphic Novel (The Mortal Instruments: Graphic Novel #1) by Cassandra Clare - Again, see above. My library does not have this set, but hopefully they will get them in soon.

9. Pride & Prejudice (Jane Austen: Marvel Adaptations) by Nancy Butler, Hugo Petrus, Jane Austen - AHHHHHH! I actually think I knew about this one before, but I must have completely forgotten, because I totally would have read it sooner. There are actually quite a few P&P graphic novels out there, so I'm excited to read them all!

10. Sense and Sensibility (Jane Austen: Marvel Adaptations) by Nancy Butler, Sonny Liew, Jane Austen - Same as above! I have both of these on hold at the library, and I can't wait to read them!

There you have it! My small list of graphic novels on my TBR.
Have a suggestion of a novel I should try?? Leave a comment below and I'll check it out!

  1. Okay, I totally forgot Wires and Nerves but since I technically don't have it yet, that's why I forgot it! Lol!! But it comes today, so yay! I have a few of these on my list as well! Yay for Iron Fey! I didn't think many knew about this one!

    Here's my Tuesday Post

  2. I didn't know that the Cassandra Clare books were in graphic novel form either. I'll have to give those a try! The new Marissa Meyer graphic novel sounds awesome as well. Great list!

  3. Nice list of titles!! I haven't read any of them.

Here's a link to my TTT post for this week:

  4. How did I not know there was a Miss Peregrine's graphic novel?! Thanks for the heads-up. I love Sarah's Scribbles. I have a few comic strip collection books like Calvin and Hobbs, and The Farside. I wouldn't mind adding Big Mushy Happy Lump. :)

Thanks for stopping by! :)
