With his passion for romance novels, it was only a matter of time before Vlad wrote one.

Elena Konnikova has lived her entire adult life in the shadows. As the daughter of a Russian journalist who mysteriously disappeared, she escaped danger the only way she knew how: She married her childhood friend, Vladimir, and moved to the United States, where he is a professional hockey player in Nashville.

Vlad, aka the Russian, thought he could be content with his marriage of convenience. But it’s become too difficult to continue in a one-sided relationship. He joined the Bromance Book Club to learn how to make his wife love him, but all he’s learned is that he deserves more. He’s ready to create his own sweeping romance—both on and off the page.

The bros are unwilling to let Vlad forgo true love—and this time they’re not operating solo. They join forces with Vlad’s neighbors, a group of meddling widows who call themselves the Loners. But just when things finally look promising, Elena’s past life intrudes and their happily ever after is cast into doubt. (Goodreads)

The Bromance Book Club series by Lyssa Kay Adams is hands down one of my most favorite romance series at the moment. I have really enjoyed reading all the books as they have been released, but Isn’t it Bromantic is both my most anticipated AND my favorite book in the series!

To be honest, I really wasn’t sure what to expect from this story. If you’ve read the previous books, then you know all about Vlad and his sounds and smells. (ROFL!) Just going by those books, it was kind of hard to think of him as a romantic lead. But, Lyssa definitely pulled it off! Vlad is adorable and sensitive, and such a great guy, and I definitely enjoyed seeing this softer, (yet still very manly), side of him.

I also really liked Elena as well. I found her to be relatable in some ways, and it was interesting to see her character grow throughout the story. The relationship between her and Vlad was soooo adorable … and steamy … and I really enjoyed watching it blossom. The storyline was great as well … both with Vlad recovering from his injury and his secret project, as well as Elena and hers also! (There’s also a twist that I didn’t see coming!)

And, of course, it makes me so happy that all the characters from the previous books are once again in this new book. I love their bromance book club, and there are so many guys that still need their own books! And since there were quite a few new characters introduced in this new book, I have my fingers crossed that we will see some new stories for them soon. *please please please*!!!

Overall; I definitely enjoyed Isn’t It Bromantic SOOOO much more than I expected to! I was definitely intrigued before I started it, and I loved the story, and the characters, of course, and I really hope we get more books in the series. I would really, really love that. If you’ve enjoyed the previous books in the series, do check out this newest addition as well!

Alexis Carlisle and her cat café, ToeBeans, have shot to fame after she came forward as a victim of a celebrity chef’s sexual harassment. When a new customer approaches to confide in her, the last thing Alexis expects is for the woman to claim they’re sisters. Unsure what to do, Alexis turns to the only man she trusts—her best friend, Noah Logan.

Computer genius Noah left his rebellious teenage hacker past behind to become a computer security expert. Now he only uses his old skills for the right cause. But Noah’s got a secret: He’s madly in love with Alexis. When she asks for his help, he wonders if the timing will ever be right to confess his crush.

Noah’s pals in The Bromance Book Club are more than willing to share their beloved “manuals” to help him go from bud to boyfriend. But he must decide if telling the truth is worth risking the best friendship he’s ever had.

A hacktivist and a cat café owner decode the friend zone in this romantic comedy from the author of Undercover Bromance. (Goodreads)

Crazy Stupid Bromance is the third book in the Bromance Book Club series by Lyssa Kay Adams, and was also one of my most anticipated reads for the second half of 2020! I was very much looking forward to this newest addition to the series, and I’m thrilled to you tell you that it didn’t disappoint!

If you’ve been following me for a while now, then you know that romance books are the ones getting me through this mess of a year, and it’s quickly becoming one of my most favorite genres. I definitely need more books like this in my life right now, and I can’t wait to discover more.

Crazy Stupid Bromance was such a good read. I pretty much loved everything about the book, from the lovable characters, to the addictive storyline, to all the ways it made me laugh… It was great, and just the book I needed to read right now!

If you have started the series already then you will know that each novel spotlights a different couple, and this book was all about Alexis and Noah, who we met previously in the series. I seriously love them both, and their chemistry together was off the charts. And it’s a slow burn between the two… and it was definitely worth the wait! I also loved seeing all the characters from previous books in the series as well. Some of the new characters took a while to warm up to, but they did eventually grow on me.

As I mentioned above, the storyline for this book made me laugh… a lot! It was mostly the guys in the book club and some of the things that they got into, but I definitely had a few good laughs. There were a few eye-rolling moments in the book, because while we really want a man to do some of the things the guys in this series do, it never seems to happen that way. Maybe one day.

The only issue that I had with the book was the organ donation part. It felt a bit forced to me, and I felt like Alexis made her decision a bit to prematurely. It’s a small thing, but did bother me.

Overall; if you can’t tell by reading my thoughts on Crazy Stupid Bromance, I really, really enjoyed it. I definitely need more books like this in my life right now. And I am now even more excited to get my hands on the next book in the series, Isn’t It Bromantic, which is currently set to release June 2021! That will be Vlad’s story, and I can’t wait to read it. I hope it’s fantastic as well!

With the stakes this high, it’s no longer just a game for the quarterback in this romance by the author of Blitzed.

Elliot Reed is living her best life—or pretending to. She owes it to her dad’s memory to be happy and make the most of her new job as Strategic Communications Manager for the Denver Mustangs. Things are going well until star quarterback Quinton Howard Jr. decides to use the field as his stage and becomes the first player to take a knee during the national anthem.

As the son of a former professional athlete, Quinton knows the good, the bad, and the ugly about football. He's worked his entire life to gain recognition in the sport, and now that he has it, he’s not about to waste his chance to change the league for better. Not even the brilliant but infuriating Elliot, who the Mustangs assign to manage him, will get Quinton back in line.

A rocky initial meeting only leads to more tension between Quinton and Elliot. But as her new job forces them to spend time together, she realizes they may have more in common than she could've ever imagined. With her job and his integrity on the line, this is one coin toss that nobody can win. (Goodreads)

And here is yet ANOTHER book I can't wait to read!
I adore this series, and was super surprised to find out there would be a fourth book.
I absolutely can't wait to start it!

Braden Mack thinks reading romance novels makes him an expert in love, but he’ll soon discover that real life is better than fiction.

Liv Papandreas has a dream job as a sous chef at Nashville’s hottest restaurant. Too bad the celebrity chef owner is less than charming behind kitchen doors. After she catches him harassing a young hostess, she confronts him and gets fired. Liv vows revenge, but she’ll need assistance to take on the powerful chef.

Unfortunately, that means turning to Braden Mack. When Liv’s blackballed from the restaurant scene, the charismatic nightclub entrepreneur offers to help expose her ex-boss, but she is suspicious of his motives. He’ll need to call in reinforcements: the Bromance Book Club.

Inspired by the romantic suspense novel they’re reading, the book club assists Liv in setting up a sting operation to take down the chef. But they’re just as eager to help Mack figure out the way to Liv’s heart... even though she’s determined to squelch the sparks between them before she gets burned. (Goodreads)

Undercover Bromance is the second book in the Bromance Book Club series by Lyssa Kay Adams, and is also one of my most anticipated reads for 2020! I read The Bromance Book Club earlier this year and really enjoyed the story, so I couldn’t wait to get started on this second book in the series. I really, really loved the first book, and I was curious to see how this sequel was going to compare. I was NOT disappointed at all!

One of the things that I love about this series is the characters. All of the guys in the Bromance Book Club are interesting – and also pretty damn hilarious – and I love that each book in the series is about a different character. The first book in the series was about Gavin and his wife Thea, and in this book, it is Mack and Liv. To be honest, I LOVE MACK AND LIV! They were just so perfect for each other, and I very much enjoyed watching the relationship between them grow.  It was so sweet!

I also very much enjoyed the storyline for this book. There was so much going on, from the guys in the book club to Liv and her horrible boss, and then everyone working together to take him down. Add in the steamy parts of the book, and I WAS HOOKED. I have to say that I think I enjoyed this book even more than I did the first book, which is saying a LOT because I really loved the first book too. They are both so great!

A lot of interesting information has come out about this series recently that I wanted to share, just in case you haven’t yet heard yourself. First, the cover was recently released for the third book in the series, Crazy Stupid Bromance, and I think it’s my most favorite cover yet! Also, it has been confirmed that The Russian is definitely getting his own book soon! And, last but definitely not least, The Bromance Book Club is headed to NETFLIX! (Granted, I don’t watch tv or movies often, but I am SO down to watch this!) Exciting, right??

Overall; If you couldn’t already tell, I very much enjoyed Undercover Bromance! I love the characters, and the storyline, and all the steamy parts in between. This series is so good, and I absolutely can’t wait to get my hands on the next book, Crazy Stupid Bromance, which is currently set to release in October! If you haven’t yet picked up this series, I highly recommend them! And if you start reading soon, you’ll be all caught up when book #3 is released!

New York Times bestselling author Tessa Bailey returns with a unique, sexy romantic comedy about a young married couple whose rocky relationship needs a serious renovation.

Rosie and Dominic Vega are the perfect couple: high school sweethearts, best friends, madly in love. Well, they used to be anyway. Now Rosie’s lucky to get a caveman grunt from the ex-soldier every time she walks in the door. Dom is faithful and a great provider, but the man she fell in love with ten years ago is nowhere to be found. When her girlfriends encourage Rosie to demand more out of life and pursue her dream of opening a restaurant, she decides to demand more out of love, too. Three words: marriage boot camp.

Never in a million years did Rosie believe her stoic, too-manly-to-emote husband would actually agree to relationship rehab with a weed-smoking hippy. Dom talking about feelings? Sitting on pillows? Communing with nature? Learning love languages? Nope. But to her surprise, he’s all in, and it forces her to admit her own role in their cracked foundation. As they complete one ridiculous—yet surprisingly helpful—assignment after another, their remodeled relationship gets stronger than ever. Except just as they’re getting back on track, Rosie discovers Dom has a secret... and it could demolish everything. (Goodreads)

Soooo, I read the first book in this series, Fix Her Up, earlier this year and absolutely LOVED IT! It was my very first read by Tessa Bailey, and I am now HOOKED. I am most definitely looking forward to continuing along with this series as soon as possible!

The first rule of book club:
You don't talk about book club.

Nashville Legends second baseman Gavin Scott's marriage is in major league trouble. He’s recently discovered a humiliating secret: his wife Thea has always faked the Big O. When he loses his cool at the revelation, it’s the final straw on their already strained relationship. Thea asks for a divorce, and Gavin realizes he’s let his pride and fear get the better of him.

Welcome to the Bromance Book Club.

Distraught and desperate, Gavin finds help from an unlikely source: a secret romance book club made up of Nashville's top alpha men. With the help of their current read, a steamy Regency titled Courting the Countess, the guys coach Gavin on saving his marriage. But it'll take a lot more than flowery words and grand gestures for this hapless Romeo to find his inner hero and win back the trust of his wife. (Goodreads)

If you know me any at all then you probably know that I’m a sucker for a good rom-com, and I’m always on the lookout for new ones. The moment that I discovered The Bromance Book Club by Lyssa Kay Adams, I knew I would have to check out the book. I am SO glad that I did!!

The Bromance Book Club is exactly what I am looking for in contemporary romance novels. With the world being the way that it is right now, I am just looking for a little escape from the madness, and that’s exactly what I got from this book. The storyline is super cute, but also touches on so many things that are relevant at the moment. I love the idea of guys having a book club and reading romance novels, discussing how to better treat their women. (Can this be a real thing, please?!) I definitely need more books like this in my life, asap! (And yes, I will be over here anxiously awaiting the sequel for this book.)

Another thing that I loved about this book were the characters. There are SO many characters! The story is told from alternate viewpoints between the main character, Gavin, and his wife, Thea. (I love books that do this, as we get to see all the sides to the story!) Both of these characters were interesting, and both had SO much character growth over the course of the story. Watching their relationship change and grow was definitely interesting. There are also some really great secondary characters in the story as well. I LOVE all the guys that are in the book club. Seriously, SO much love for these men! Are they perfect? No. But they are trying to be better, and that’s awesome. Also, I love how supportive they were for each other. Seriously, this needs to be a thing!

Overall; I really, really enjoyed The Bromance Book Club, so much more than I expected to! This book has a great storyline, lots of cute characters, and lots of steamy romance as well. It’s basically everything I look for in a rom-com, I absolutely can't wait to get my hands on the sequel, Undercover Bromance, which is currently set to release March 10th, 2020! Pick up a copy of The Bromance Book Club in stores this week, and I hope you love it as much as I did!
