In My Mailbox #8

In My Mailbox is a weekly meme hosted by Kristi at The Story Siren. It's a great way to showcase the books you've gotten over the week, whether they are bought, borrowed or free.

Here is what is in my mailbox this week...

This week was a great book week for me! I didn't get much reading done because I was helping at my kids school all week. I did manage to have some free time Thursday morning, and went book shopping with my mommy! I was able to pick up a lot of great reads! Check them out...

BOUGHT:
Iron King | Iron Daughter | Iron Queen by Julie Kagawa
I have already read this series, but I had borrowed the first two from the library, and had gotten Iron Queen from NetGalley. I'm excited to add them to my collection!

The Hunger Games | Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins
This is another series I had borrowed from the library. My sister picked these up, we already have Mockingjay.
Graceling | Fire by Kristin Cashore
I read and Loved Graceling, but still need to read Fire.

Incarceron by Catherine Fisher
I haven't read this yet, but I'm really looking forward to starting it!

WON:

I had won two giveaways in the past two weeks, and both books came in the mail this week. (Sqeeeee!)

The first book I won from Lori at Pure Imagination, who, come to find out, lives mere minutes from me! It was really great talking to her. If you don't follow her blog already, you totally should!

Dark Mirror by M. J. Putney

The second giveaway I won was a First Reads giveaway from Goodreads that was hosted by the author, T. Lynne Tolles. Along with the book, she also sent some really awesome bookmarks! Check it out...
Somber Island - T. Lynne Tolles

Edited to Add-
I just found out from LadyBugStorytime that B&N.com has Betrayal by Mayandree Michel for 0.99 for the Nook! I'm purchased and am adding that to my list too!

  7. I love The Iron Fey series too! I had the first two on my nook and the third one I bought a physical copy. So of course that meant I had to buy the first two again for my shelf! I bought Dark Mirror a few weeks ago. I'm hearing mixed reviews on it though, but it seems really interesting. Hope you like it. Enjoy all of the new books!

And congrats on completing your Hunger Games collection, that's really a must-have. Damn, you're so lucky to buy all of these in one week! :)
