Friday Hops 1/19

Follow Friday! #43

Follow Friday is a weekly meme hosted by Parajunkee & Alison Can Read. It's a great way to meet new blogger friends!
Q: What's the craziest thing you've ever done to get your hands on any particular book?

A. Ahem... Being the extreme Introvert that I am, I would have to say, not much. I wish I could say that I was one of those people that stood outside stores at midnight to get a copy of a new release, but I'd rather avoid the crowds and buy it the next day. I'm pretty lame like that. ;)

TGIF at GReads #11

TGIF at GReads is a Friday Feature hosted by Ginger at GReadsBooks.com!

Recommend It: Which book from the last 10 you've read would you recommend to a friend?

My pick would be:

The one I would recommend would be Pandemonium, but you'd have to read Deliriumfirst, if you haven't already! And if you haven't read Delirium yet, YOU TOTALLY SHOULD!

Thanks for stopping by everyone! Please leave a comment with your link so I can follow you back!

  2. Don't worry about it! I'm too quiet to go to a midnight release or even go to a book signing (what would I say to the author?).

  5. Hi, I'm a new follower.
I haven't done anything particularly crazy to get a book either, most of mine are ordered online.
I loved Delirium, can't wait to get my hands on Pandemonium. Have a great weekend.

  6. Awww, that's not lame! And really, I haven't read about anyone doing anything super for real crazy yet. I'm not sure how crazy you can get with books. It's not a rock concert. :)

    Have a great weekend!

  8. I'm an introvert as well, but I have been to like 2 HP parties. And then I arrived early the morning of to get my line ticket and then came to the party like an hour before the book released and admired all the pretty merchandise near the registers for when midnight came!

  10. You sound like me--I've never been to a book party or anything like that especially since my friends IRL aren't book people and won't go with me. I'm thinking about BEA this year and it scares the heck out of me...

  11. I enjoyed going to the Harry Potter parties my book store had. We usually just kept to a quiet area and watched everyone. It was fun to be around so many bookish people.

I can not wait to get Pandemonium! We must talk about it as soon as I am done.

  12. Oooo yes! I would absolutely recommend both of these as well, I just adored them. I love when books get me all emotional, and both of these definitely did that. Awesome picks Christy!

  27. Hello-I'm a new follower. I enjoy reading almost any genre, but mainly blog about adult romance.
I have Delirium in my TBR horde, but haven't had the chance to read it. My fave young adult read recently has been The Scorpio Races.

  28. Hi! Old follower here. I think this question was hard for a lot of people. I came up with a few minor ones when I was younger, but I had to think about it!
