Follow Friday is a weekly meme hosted by Parajunkee & Alison Can Read. It's a great way to meet new blogger friends!
Q: Go count the number of unread books sitting on your shelf. How many?
A.Oh geez.... :)
At the moment, I have over 50 waiting on me to get started on them. That's not really a lot, considering. :)
TGIF at GReads #9
TGIF at GReads is a Friday Feature hosted by Ginger at GReadsBooks.com!
Reading Resolutions: What are some of your reading goals for the new year?
One of my main reading goals is to work on a lot of the books that have sequels coming out this year. SO many books to read! I also want to read the books I own!
I'm still deciding if I want to do a reading challenge this year. I did one last year, and the year before, and found it to be a little stressful. I was so worried about meeting my goal, that I feel like I didn't get to enjoy all the books I read. I'm still trying to decide if I want to do one this year or not.
Thanks for stopping by everyone! Please leave a comment with your link so I can follow you back!
Happy Friday! Old follower hopping through!!!

New follower! I am doing my first reading challenge this year, I am feeling very pressured. It is quite fun, though. It is nice to keep a list of how many books I have read this year. Looking forward to your posts!

Oh thank goodness. I've about the same. 50 is PERFECTLY reasonable :)
ReplyDeleteHappy FF! xx
I'm trying really hard to get under 50! I need to read more. My FF
ReplyDeleteI need to catch up on my series reads as well. It seems like everything's turning into a series these days, and it's so hard to stay on top of all the new books coming out! Plus, I don't know about you, but I often have to reread or at least skim the earlier books to remember the details of what happened, and that takes even more time!
ReplyDeleteHope you have a great weekend!
I'm working at staying under 50. I think 50 is a respectable number. It means we'll always have a book at hand =)

50...could be worse. I can't even tell how many I have because I'm too lazy to count the books on my Kindle :P
ReplyDeleteI enjoy challenges, but if they stress you out, don't worry about it! I'm sure you don't need more stress, and it looks like you get plenty of reading done anyway!
New follower! Kate @ Epic (Chocolate) Fantasy
That's my number too, but 50 takes a lot of time, moreover with many sequels coming out this year.

Hopping through. I decided not to do reading challenges this year. I probably read enough books to meet the challenge but I always forget to report them.

I've joined quite a few reading challenges this year, but I've never done one before. Definitely looking forward to find out what it'll be like. :)
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely weekend!
Carina
Yay! You have about the same amount of books that I do! Everyone else seems to have hundreds in their TBR pile!
ReplyDeleteHere's my Friday Hops
Have a GREAT weekend!
Old Follower :)
I understand what you mean by feeling overwhelmed with challenges. I decided to participate in Chick Loves Lit's challenge this year since many of the books I read last year for the DAC are a part of a series. I planned on reading the second books in those series so I might as well count them towards a challenge which is where Chick Loves Lit comes in with her 2012 sophomore challenge. Just an idea for you.
ReplyDeleteNew Follower :-) Love your blog header by the way.
I have a lot of books that need reading myself, including both Kindle and bookshelf.

I definitely have over 50 waiting for me too Christy, you are not alone! I need to get caught up on seequels as well, I missed out on a lot of them this year because I got distracted by all the pretty new series coming out. Must not let that happen again! Hope you have a great weekend:)

They should never ask a blogger about the unread books sitting on his shelf LOL!
ReplyDeleteReally? I didn't see anyone else mention it- I'm reading all her work this year, and re-reading Pride and Prejudice, which is definitely a favourite!
