September 11: Hidden Gems (which books haven’t been talked about as much or haven’t been marketed as strongly that you think deserve some recognition?)
1. The Kiss of Deception by Mary E. Pearson - Ok, this is actually a pretty popular series, but it happens to be on my most favorite series, and I really feel like not enough people have read it! It's definitely a gem to me!
2. Walk on Earth a Stranger by Rae Carson - Seriously, this series is so good, and I don't feel that it is talked about as much as it SHOULD be! If you haven't yet read it, you should!

3. A Thousand Pieces of You by Claudia Gray - This is yet another series that I absolutely love, but feel that it doesn't get the attention it deserves! I love this series!
4. Ruined by Amy Tintera - I've only read the first book in this series so far, but I was super impressed by it, and I have no idea why this series isn't talked about more. I can't wait to read the next two books in the series!

5. Daughter of the Pirate King by Tricial Levenseller - There aren't nearly enough pirate books in my life, but of the ones I have read, this series is one of my most favorites, and it definitely is a gem as well!
6. Everless by Sara Holland - This book is the beginning of what I feel will be a really awesome series, but I feel like not enough people have read it yet! It's so good, and I can't wait to get my hands on the second book!!

7. Vicious by V.E. Schwab - Of all of Schwab's books, I feel like this one is probably talked about the least. I didn't read it until earlier this year, but I really enjoyed it! I can't wait to get my hands on it's sequel soon!
8. Rebel of the Sands by Alwyn Hamilton - You guys, I love this series so much, and I don't see it talked about very often! I love how unique the story is, and I love ALL the great characters in the series. If you haven't read it, please do so!
9. Wait for Me by Caroline Leech - Caroline is a relatively new author, but she has two really awesome books out, and they are the best hidden gems ever! If you're a fan of historical fiction, you should totally check these out.
10. The Summer I Turned Pretty by Jenny Han - I am really surprised at how many people have not yet read this series by Jenny Han! I read them way back when, and then re-read them this summer, and really enjoyed them all over again. Jenny Han books are the best!!

Have a GREAT day!

I agree with your choices of Everless and Vicious. I read Amy Tintera's Reboot duology years ago and really enjoyed so I really need to read Ruined!
ReplyDeleteI loved Daughter of The Pirate King! I am currently reading Vicious, I think it's having a resurgence due to the sequel coming out soon, because I've seen a lot of people reading it recently. There was a lot of talk about Everless when I read it earlier in the year, but definitely less so now.
