My October 2020 TBR!

October has officially arrived, Bookworms!
And I'm SO excited for it!

Did you know that October is probably my most favorite month of the year? I love everything about it. It's basically the beginning of fall here in the south, so the weather is getting cooler, and the colors are turning beautiful, and, of course, there's HALLOWEEN! It's definitely my most favorite holiday. :)

I had a really good reading month in September, and I feel like I am definitely starting to get over this reading slump. Not only that, but I'm starting to feel more like myself physically and mentally again, now that I have my meds sorted out, and have started exercising again. (All these things are great, and take my mind off the dumpster fire that the world is for just a moment.)

I have lots of creepy, spooky, mysterious reads picked out to read this October, and I'm REALLY hoping that I can get to them all!

Here's what I'm hoping to read:

Books I'm Reading:

Ninth House by Leigh Bardugo
(Determined to *finally* start this one this month.)

When No One is Watching by Alyssa Cole
(I have been waiting to read this one, and it's killing me! SO excited to get started on it.)

A Study in Charlotte by Brittany Cavallaro
(Sounds like a fun fall read.)

The Broken Girls by Simone St. James
(Also hoping to read The Sun Down Motel!)

A Discover of Witches by Deborah Harkness
(I have been trying to read this one for YEARS now.)

The Bone Season by Samantha Shannon
(Because reading The Priory of the Orange Tree made me want to start this.)

Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor
(Starting this over because I never finished the series.)

Cinderella is Dead by Kalynn Bayron
(Because this sounds fantastic!)

These Witches Don't Burn by Isabel Sterling
(Sounds like another great Halloween-y read to me.)

An Enchantment of Ravens by Margaret Rogerson
(Bookstagram recommended this one!)

Sawkill Girls by Claire LeGrand
(This one is a re-read, and I'm thinking of making it a yearly thing!)

The Damned by Renee Ahdieh
(Been waiting to read this one for a while now!)

Gideon the Ninth by Tamsyn Muir
(Seems like a great time to start this one as well!)
