Friday Hops 7/15 & The Goddess Test Winner

Follow Friday! #22

Follow Friday is a weekly meme hosted by Parajunkee. It's a great way to meet new blogger friends!

This weeks question is:
Q. What do I do when I am not reading?
A.Well, I have three kids, and I'm a stay at home mom, so they pretty much take up most of my time. :) But when they are not requiring my full attention, and I'm not reading, I do quite a few things. I blog, I crochet (badly), I recycle (alot), sometimes I watch TV. But most of the time, I read. I lead a very boring life, and I'm ok with that! :)

Book Blogger Hop #20

Book Blogger Hop is a weekly meme hosted by Crazy-For-Books.com. It's a great way to meet new people and friends around the blogworld!

Q. How/Where do you get your books? Do you buy them or go to the library? Is there a certain website you use like paperbackswap?

A. I get my books from a lot of different places. A lot come from the library, a lot from Netgalley, and some in the mail. I love PaperBackSwap.com, I have gotten SO many great books from there. We also have some awesome used book stores in our area, and I get a lot from them as well.

I also wanted to congratulate the winner of The Goddess Test giveaway! The winner, chosen via Random.org is...

Jessica @ A Great Read! Congratulations Jessica!

Thanks for stopping by everyone! Please leave a comment with your link so I can follow you back!

  9. I feel like I live a boring life as well, and I'm fine with that too. I've never really been the social butterfly. Problem with me is I never know what to do. I feel like I should be social. I'm only 23, I feel like a failure of my generation sometimes.

Other times I feel like I stand out from my generation because I don't do what I "should". Whatever that is.

    Here's my Friday Hops

    Have a GREAT weekend!

  10. I guess that means I'm boring too. I wish I could crochet though! Or quilt. I've wanted to learn how to make a quilt, but I don't know the first thing about sewing. :)

  14. I am not a new follower, but I recently re-organized my blog and some of the blogs I accidentally ignore got bummed to the top.

So, when I am not reading and on vacation, one thing I do in my uneventful life is organize.

I am not bored really. In fact, I am always busy even though I do not seem run around like most people I know.

  23. I've always wanted to crochet. Don't really know why, it just applies to me.

I never really thought about it until you wrote "recycle" that recycling isn't really an option, it's just the norm here. We have different bins for the different types of garbage and we're refunded money when we bring bottles back. It's strange when I think it's different everywhere else.

Three kids and you do all of the above, hats off :-)

Have a great weekend and happy reading!

  25. Ha! I feel like I leave a boring life too. Sometimes I'm okay with it and others times I'm not. It depends on the fun activities my husband gets to do at the time if I'm content or not.
