Friday Hops 9/30

Follow Friday! #30

Q. What book that hasn't been turned into a movie (yet) would you most like to see make it to the big screen, and who would you like cast as your favorite character?
A. The one book I would LOVE to see made into a movie is The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer! I love that book so very much, and it would definitely make a great movie. :)

Not sure who I would picture as the cast... I definitely need to do a re-read so I can visualize! lol!

A. I could not pick just one favorite. I love these books, and hate that they are banned!

The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
Harry Potter Series by J.K. Rowling
Bridge to Terabithia by Katherine Pearson
Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen
To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee

  3. Yay! You included To Kill a Mockingbird, one of my all-time favorite books! :D It didn't make sense for it to be banned or for any of the books on the lists. I'm curious to see what 2011's list will bring. Have a great weekend!

  13. Oooh, I just got Unbecoming of Mara Dyer, but I haven't gotten a chance to read it yet! But from just the few pages, I've read, I could totally see it becoming an amazing movie.

And great choices for the favourite banned books! Bridge to Terabithia is an amazing book - even if I weep my heart out every time I read it.

My FF is over here if you'd like to stop by! Happy reading!

  14. I totally accidentally left you the wrong URL because I fail at copy and paste sigh. Here's my FF URL:

  15. YES YES YES! The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer must be a movie! That would be awesome.

I love so many of your choices for banned books. The fact that some of them are banned makes me sad. :(

  16. Have you seen the Mara Dyer book trailer? It is AWESOME

  18. Oh my gosh how much would I die if The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer was made into a movie? That book blew me away and I think it would be unbelievably interesting to see it in visual form:) Happy Friday Christy!

  19. I haven't read Mara Dyer just yet! I have to get it asap!! Great pick!

  21. Mara Dyer was my other choice for this question, but alas I chose something else. Wouldn't know who to cast either since I'm not all too familiar with young actors these days (great, I just made myself feel old).
