Follow Friday (2)/ Book Blogger Hop (1)



Yay, it's finally Friday!!! Follow Friday is a weekly meme hosted by Parajunkee.

This weeks question is:
If you are a fan of Science Fiction what is your favorite book? If you haven't read Science Fiction before...any inkling to? Anything catch your eye?

I've only read a little bit of SciFi... I recently read I Am Number Four and enjoyed it. So I would definitely consider reading more!

    I'm not a big sci-fi person. I tend to prefer the fantasy end of the spectrum. When I was younger, I did enjoy a couple of Orson Scott Card's Ender books (I don't know quite how many I read...2-3?), though. Recently, I enjoyed Across the Universe by Beth Revis and picked up Firefly on DVD to FINALLY watch for $15, so I'm trying to give it a try.

    Sci-Fi just...tends to blow my brain apart a little bit. For example, the end of the novel Flashforward (what the TV series was loosely based around) blew out my brains at the end. I couldn't comprehend all the sciency stuff. LOL!

    My answer for FF- Does Across the Universe count as sci-fi? I mostly stick with paranormal, fantasy and contemporary.

    I haven't read I am number four yet, but I keep seeing when I go to the book store and want to get it but don't end up with it. I would like to read it before the movie comes out. Have a good weekend!
