Happy Sunday, and Welcome to my weekly Week in Review post!
Here I share all the things I've been up to during the past week.
Check back every Sunday for new updates!
Now, here's what I've been up to this week!
This past week I had the pleasure of reading four really interesting books, including Hero at the Fall, the third and final book in the Rebel of the Sands series by Alwyn Hamilton. This book was a really great ending to an awesome series, and you can see my thoughts for the book here!
I also read To Kill A Kingdom by Alexandra Christo, which is a retelling of The Little Mermaid with a dark twist, and which was also pretty awesome! I still need to write a review for this book, but I'm hoping to work on that for this coming week.
Ah! And I finally read Children of Blood and Bone this week, and it was all everyone said it would be AND MORE! Think Black Panther with a magical twist, and that's what you get with this book. I loved it, and will definitely have my thoughts for it up this week.
The last book I read this week was Restore Me by Tahereh Mafi! I have to say I was super curious to see what direction this new part of the series would take, and I'm still trying to sort my thoughts for it. I'm hoping to have them up soon!
I only watched one movie this week, but The Hubby and I finally went to see Black Panther, and it was Great!! I looooooved the last post credit scene as well. *swooooon*
Next month I'll be starting my Marvel Movie Marathon Month, in which I watch ALL the Marvel movies in order before the release of Infinity War. I am very, very excited for this. Can it be April already?? :)
I know I probably said this last week, but March has been the weirdest month. I'm almost ready for it to be over already. *grin*
This week has been a pretty lazy week for me. The hubby took the week off, and it was nice to spend time with him for our anniversary. But, I didn't get much accomplished having him home. haha! Here's hoping for a little bit of normalcy to return next week!
That's about all for me this week. How was your week?
I can't wait to hear about Restore Me. Shatter Me is one of my fave series, and I can't wait to catch up with Warner and Kenji.
