Friday Hops 6/17

Follow Friday! #18

Follow Friday is a weekly meme hosted by Parajunkee. It's a great way to meet new blogger friends!

This weeks question is:
Q. Genre Wars! What's your favorite genre and which book in that genre made it your favorite?
Hmmm... I would probably have to say Dystopian. And the books that got me there... The Hunger Games, of course!

Book Blogger Hop #16

Book Blogger Hop is a weekly meme hosted by Crazy-For-Books.com. It's a great way to meet new people and friends around the blogworld!

Today's question is:
How many books are currently in your To-Be-Read (TBR) Pile?"
Ummm, too many. :)  If I am just counting what's on my bookshelf at the moment that I've purchased, borrowed, gotten from Netgalley, etc, it would probably be over 50.  My TBR list on Goodreads is currently around 750!

Thanks for stopping by everyone! Please leave a comment with your link so I can follow you back!

  10. Old follower here. Great choice! I just finished that trilogy last month and it really got me into dystopian.

  11. New follower just stopping by to say Hi and Happy Friday!

I chose romance. Bring on the ab-tastic men and their fiery heroines. TSTL heroines need not apply.

  12. Agreed! Hunger Games is awesome! It sparked my interest in dystopian. You should try The Demon Trapper series by Jana Oliver. There's romance in it but it's set in the near future, say 2018.

50 books in your possession isn't too bad! I have considerably less than that haha. But that's ok by me. Some people have thousands! So I'm happy with my small number! :)

  26. I really haven't read a lot of Dystopian, although I do have a lot of Dystopian on my TBR list. And speaking of TBR lists, my goodreads shelf is nowhere near where yours it but it is starting to get a little crazy!

    Bonnie @ HandsAndHome

  27. There is no such thing as too many books on your TBR. The most important thing is to read and enjoy what you read.
    Happy blogging.

    ReplyDelete
  28. My TBR list on Goodreads is also rather large (854). When will we ever get through them all? I even went through and removed about 50 that I was no longer interested in. haha

    ReplyDelete
  29. I think a lot of people will choose dystopian. I've only read one so far.

    Have a great weekend :-D

  46. I have way too many books on my TBR list and TBR pile. All told that comes to about sixty books.

Now here's the scary math: I read roughly one book per week - and sometimes two. But two to three books are being added to my TBR list every week.

    Stressful, right?

    Wrong!
